Hello Yoshie,
Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm afraid the blog is not an open one, but I am willing to post your responses if they seem appropriate to the work at hand. I really only post occasionally, when I have an essay that I think is worthy of publication.
All the best! I look forward to your thoughtful responses.
Yours,
Rachel

My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find many of your post's to be exactly I'm looking for. can you offer guest writers to write content to suit your needs? I wouldn't mind writing a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome website! Peace, Yoshie

Rachel - by chance, I clicked on your blog. I am devastated, it struck me very deeply. Friendly fire. That is it exactly. I recall the incident from the papers but, of course, that report and the reality are 2 different things. I am so sorry for Eitan, and for all of us who are surrounded by daily violence and sacrifice.

Rachel: Thank you for your beautiful words. It is a pleasure to know you. I hope your Eitan recovers from his trauma. I can think of nothing to help Nadav's family recover. May God give them shalom.

This is the nightmare of every mother. I am so sorry for Nadav's family and for Eitan. I have lived for the past four years dreading this type of moment, praying never to experience it. I wish there were words of wisdom...or even words of comfort that I could offer.

It scares me sometimes just how insensitive some people are - specifically observant Jews who were raised with Torah that emphasizes kindness and sensitivity when dealing with others - especially those in unfortunate circumstances.....One incident that I find myself thinking about in particular occurred while my wife and I were away on a long weekend visiting friends in a different community. Yet he and his wife as well as his children - gave me the impression from my limited viewpoint as a new acquaintance that they were at peace with the status quo. Im sure they struggle at times with the situation they were thrust into their child who is their youngest displays immature even inappropriate behaviors and has physical limitations.
